Funeral services in memory of the late John S. Brown were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Coddington on East Main Street this (Thursday) morning at 10:30 o’clock. The services were conducted with Rev. Walter Johnston and Dr. GL Mackintosh the latter paying a fine tribute to Mr. Brown. Burial was made in Oak Hill. A large number of friends were in attendance the floral tribute profuse. - kbz
