Charles Jones received a message on Friday that his mother, Mrs. Juelda Buchanan, was sick with grip at her home in Kokomo. On Saturday she seemed better and up to Sunday morning, she was thought not to be dangerously ill. At that time, she expressed a fear that the boys would not get to her in time to see her, alive, and after taking a drink of water, sank back on to her pillow dead. Mr. and Mrs. Jones and son Paul attended the funeral on Tuesday. She leaves three sons, Samuel of Harrisburg, Ill; George of Camden, Indiana, and Charles. By her second marriage, she leaes six daughters. She was 68 years old. - typed by kbz
