Grover C. Buck, 84, 1413 E. Main St., died at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday at Carmen Nursing Home. Mr. Buck was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Mace United Methodist Church. He was born Sept. 3, 1887, in Tippecanoe County, the son of David and Emma Wagoner Buck. March 10, 1907, he was married to Bessie Ellen Grimes in Tippecanoe County. Mr. Buck is survived by three sons, Ralph and Gilbert of Lafayette and Orval of Linnsburg; a brother, John of Romney; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery at Lafayette.
