Mrs. Lavina Buck, aged 67 years, died on Feb 2 at her home, 6 miles north of the city of pneumonia. She had been a resident of this county for 40 years and leaves a husband and 10 children. The funeral was on Saturday at 10 o'clock at Young's Chapel, conducted by Rev. TJ Shuey. Mrs. Buck was the plaintiff in the famous Buck-Hughes case which has been in the courts for so many years and is as famous in this section as the suit of Jamdyce against Jandyde. - Thanks Kim H

Mrs. Samuel Buck died at her home six miles north of the city on Thursday morning. The funeral will occur on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Young's Chapel and interment will be made in Tapp Cemetery.
