Waynetown - Charles L. Bunnell, 44, of Birmingham, Ala., died there at 12:40 p.m. Sunday after an illness of four weeks. He was a native of Cherry Grove, born Dec. 29, 1919 to Charles and Opal Mitchell Bunnell. He was married in December 1954 to Gladys Sowers. Mr. Bunnell, who attended school at Waynetown and also Franklin High School, was a manufacturers representative. He served with the paratroops in World War II. Surviving are the wife; three brothers, Gerald and Harold of Louisville and Robert of Lapel; a sister, Mrs. Neal Palin of New Richmond, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Servies Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Ogler will be the minister, and interment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
