CRAWFORDSVILLE - Jake Bunnell, 77, a farmer died at 3:25 a.m. Saturday in Lane Nursing Home Crawfordsville, where he was admitted in 1973. Mr. Bunnell of Rt. 4 Crawfordsville, was born near Wingate. In 1919 he was married to Vetta Herrin, who survives. He was a member of Center Christian Church, north of Elmdale, Mercer Masonic Lodge 633 at Wingate and Montgomery County Farm Bureau. Surviving with the widow are five daughters, Mrs. Don (Frances) Ziegler of Rt. 3, Veedersburg, Mrs. Charles T. (Ava) Bunnell of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, Mrs. Lawrence (Irene) Sablic of Fort Wayne, Mrs. David (Aurilla) Brewer of Lake Holiday, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Judy Bunnell Cope of Rt. 2, Crawfordsville ; one foster son, James Deckard of West Point; and a sister, Mrs. Carl (Ethel) Watts of New Richmond.

Friends may call after 4 p. m . today at Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown. Masonic rites there this evening. Service at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Hugh Dewey officiating. Interment Oakland Cemetery, north of Elmdale. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
