Lafayette (CNS) - Mrs. Lois Kathryn Burch, 48, of Lafayette, died at 3 a.m. today (Nov. 9, 1968) at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lafayette where she had been a patient for three weeks. Born in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of Walter and Mary Miles. She was married to David L. Burch in February, 1954. Surviving are her husband, her father of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Walker of Lafayette and Mrs. Leon Lowe of Veedersburg; and a brother, Vernis Miles of Lafayette. She was a member of the Stockwell United Methodist Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Dickerson Funeral Home in Stockwell. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday. - kbz

Stockwell - Lois Kathryn Burch, 48, of Rt. 6, Lafayette, died at 2:50 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mrs. Burch had been in failing health for an extended period and was admitted to the hospital three weeks ago. The deceased, a Montgomery County native, was a member of the Stockwell United Methodist Church. Born on April 26, 1920, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary Miles. Her father survives and is a resident of Veedersburg. She was married on Feb. 5, 1954, at Weavers Chapel to David L. Burch. Surviving besides her father are the husband; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Walker of Lafayette and Mrs. Leon Lowe of Veedersburg; a brother, Vernis Miles, who resides at the Burch home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dickerson Funeral Home, in Stockwell. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Wallace - kbz
