LADOGA — Clyde A. Burnside, 66, of 614 E. Taylor St., was fatally stricken while in a Saturday afternoon. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. A son of George and Eva Buckler Burnside, he was a native of Parke County, born March 21, 1903. He was married June 15, 1929 to Ruth Hunsicker, who survives. Mr. Burnside was educated in the Parke County schools, farmed until 1958 and was a brush salesman since that time. He was a member of New Market United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Laura Louise Gott of Detroit and Mrs. Maxine Dove of Rt. 7, Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; his father; three brothers, Wayne of Indianapolis, Neal in Florida and Bill of Greencastle, and five sisters, Mrs. Inah Turner of New Ross, Mrs. Mae Chestnut of Indianapolis, Mrs. Lois Vaught of North Vernon, Mrs. Madge Sutherlin of Judson and Mrs. Annice Sneath of Rockville. His mother and a brother are deceased. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Powers Funeral Home in Crawfordsville, with Rev. Paul Ingram officiating and burial in Russellville Cemetery.
