COVINGTON — Mary Kathryn Burrin, 63, of Leesburg, a former resident of Fountain and Montgomery counties, died Saturday in Akron City Hospital at Akron, Ohio. She had been ill one year. Mrs. Burrin was a member of Covington United Methodist Church, Psi Iota Xi, Coffeenians and Troy Chapter of Eastern Star. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. Her husband, Joseph, had operated a drug store at Covington for 24 years. She was born at Waynetown on April 16, 1913, a daughter of Albert C. and Ann Dossett Underwood. She married Joseph K. Burrin on Oct. 28, 1938, at Crawfordsville. Surviving are her husband; a son, Roger of Bloomington; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Karen) Paar of Stowe, Ohio; her mother of Warsaw; five grandchildren and an aunt. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wade officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The family requests that memorials be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society and Covington United Methodist Church.--waw
