ADVANCE—Mrs. Nina Burris, 82, a resident of Advance most of her life, died at 10 p.m. Saturday at her home in Lebanon. Mrs. Burris had resided in Lebanon the past 11 years. She was a member of the North Christian Church at Advance and had attended Advance schools. She was a daughter of Frank and Christine Hoover Peterson. She married James Garfield Burris March 27, 1904, near Advance. He died in 1943. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Harry Widdop of Ladoga, Mrs. John Graves of Rt. 1, Lebanon and Mrs. Ivan Stump and Mrs. Ruth Brown, both of Lebanon; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Myers Mortuary at Lebanon. Interment will be in Pisgah Cemetery south of Shannondale. Friends may call at the funeral home. --waw
