John Busenbark was born March 22, 1824, in Hamilton, Butler county, 0hio, and died 0ct. 29, 1908, aged 84 years, 7 months and 7 days.  He was married June 3, 1846, to Mary Jane Hoff, which union continued up to the time of his death, covering up to the unusual period of 62 years, 4 months and 27 days. He was the father of ten children, eight of whom are still living, two of whom Amos Busenbark and Mrs. Ella. Fairchild were not able to be present at the funeral. He became a member of the Christian church in July, 1875, and for 33 years was a constant and steadfast member. He was a faithful and loving husband and father and always showing a marked devotion to his wife and children, whose presence always afforded him his chief delight. He was a loyal and patriotic citizen, a good neighbor in full sympathy with every good work and deed. The funeral services were conducted Saturday morning by Elders Plunkett and Kerr of this city and the remains buried at Oak Hill. - kbz
