Thomas R. Bushong, 50, of Rt. 8, Crawfordsville died at 9:20 p.m. Monday in Culver Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. He had been ill for several months. He was employed by Porkland Packing Co. and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Born Feb. 17, 1924 at Glasgow, Ky., he was a son of Willie and Gertie Matthews Bushong. He was married Nov. 14, 1953, to Marietta Lepper, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Thomas Eugene at home; a daughter, Mrs. Karen Sue Tilley of Crawfordsville; a brother, Leo of Winter Haven, Fla.; three sisters, Marie Gravens of Crawfordsville, Lue Poore of Waveland, and Elizabeth Winiger of Batavia, Ill.; and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Parritt officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
