DARLINGTON -- Mrs. Fairy Fern Butler, 93, a native and long-time resident of Darlington, died Monday in Indiana Masonic Home at Franklin. She was a member of Darlington Eastern Star, Fort-Nightly Needle Club and former member of Quaker Church at Darlington. Born on July 16, 1883, she was a daughter of Cyrus and Lucinda Avery Booher. She married F. Earl Butler on Oct. 6, 1903. He died on May 10, 1953. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorcas Southworth of Connersville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Russell & Hitch Funeral Home at Thorntown with the Rev. D.W. Stackhouse officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.--waw
