Waynetown, Jan 26 - The wife of Allen Byers, former county commissioner, died Friday morning at 3 o'clock of dropsy. Mrs. Byers, who was 72 years old, had been a sufferer from this disease for a long time. She was the daughter of Ellis Little and was one of the most prominent women of this community. She is survived by her husband, one son, Harry Byers of Indianapolis; one daughter, Mrs. George Ammerman; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Ellis; Mrs. Harry Bolser and Mrs. James Ingersoll, all of Waynetown and two brothers, Guy Little and Cyrus Little. Funeral services will be held from the late home Sunday afternoon beginning at 1 o'clock with Rev. W.D. Headrick in charge. Friends may view the remains until noon on Sunday.
