Bruce M. Byrd, 56, former R.R. Donnelley & Sons employee, died early today in a hospital at Los Altos, Calif. A graduate of Crawfordsville High School, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Byrd who were residents of this city. Survivors include his widow, Ruth; a son, Gregg, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. James Craig of Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Dan Mitchell of Evansville. Memorial services will he conducted at California.
