Waynetown - Frank M. Bunnell, 77 of Waynetown died at 2:34 p.m. Saturday (Aug 8th, 1992) in Culver Union Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was a retired farmer and member of New Hope Christian Church at Crawfordsville. He served 18 years on the Culver Union Hospital Board and was a graduate of Waynetown HS. He was born Oct 25, 1914 north of Wingate to Robert N. and Winnie Dazey Bunnell. He first married Chitra Meharry Dec 19, 1936. She died Jan 30, 1964. He married Geraldine Shuler Aug 4, 1966. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, LeRoy of rural Waynetown; two brothers, Charles of Waynetown and Dallas Powers of Cardston, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Webb of Lafayette and Mrs. Fern Irvin of Wingate; and four grandchildren. A sister, Florence also is deceased.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Mike Whitacre officiating. Burial will be in Meharry Cemetery north of Wingate with Rev. Don Burgess assisting. Friends may call 2-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society, Meharry Cemetery or New Hope Christian Church. - kbz
