Mrs. Olive Buhrmester of Hoosier Village Baptist Retirement Home at Indianapolis died Monday. She as a former resident of Waynetown and Crawfordsville. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Crawfordsville, a cahrter member of Wesley Home Extension Club, Friendly Circle Class of First Baptist Church, the Allen Circle of Missionary Society and Keenagers. She attended school at Wesley and Waynetown. She was born April 4, 1901 in Montgomery County, the daughter of Walter and Sophia Miller. WHen her mother died, she was adopted by Edgar and Lou McKinley Schenck. She married Benjamin W. Buhrmester in November 1944. He preceded her in death in 1969.  Mrs. Buhrmester is survived by a sister, Caroline Harris of Lafayette, two granddaughtesr, Mrs. Carolyn Malarsie (?) of Lafayette and Mrs. Marilyn Myers of Crawfordsville; several stepchildren, step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.  Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
