David Franklin Burk, 61, Kingman died at 12:02 a.m. Sunday in the VA Hospital, Danville.

Mr. Burk was self-employed for 20 years building new homes, home additions and kitchen cabinets.  He also worked for RR Donnelley & Sons, Crawfordsville for 10 years. His memberships included the Army for two years and Scotts Prairie Christian Church.  He graduated from Crawfordsville HS.  He was born Nov 22, 1938 at Fountain County to John Russell and Dorothy Helen McCarty Burk. He married Delores Jean Ray on March 10, 1963 at Kingman, Ind.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Russell Allen Kingman; one daughter, Mrs. Travis "Joyce" Massingill, Jr., Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Gwendolyn Burk White, Crawfordsville and two grandchildren.  Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. Horace Germany officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. Friends may call 6-8 pm. Tuesday in the funeral home.
