Burlew - John M

John M. Burlew died at
his home on Klotz street Saturday night at eleven o'clock, as a result of
dropsy. He was a native of Pennsylvania and was aged seventy-five years,
one month and five days. He leaves the following children: Mrs. Jennie
Lister, William Burlew and Grant Burlew. He was a member of the Christian
church at Kendallville, and of the G.A.R. post at Goshen. He served in an
Ohio regiment during the civil war. The funeral was held at the residence
Monday afternoon. Elder A.J. Frank officiating. Burial at Oak Hill
