Mrs. Laura Frances Burnam, 86, a resident of this community since 1929 died Wednesday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville after an illness of three days. She was a native of Kentucky, born March 30, 1880 to Jacob and Julia Walker Anderson. She married Tom Burnam on April 17, 1896. He preceded her in death. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Schmall and Robert Robert Wheeler of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Marie Tolliver of Waveland and Mrs. John Puckett of Converse; two sons, Roy L. Burnam of Greenfield and Leonard Burnam of Mansfield, Ill; 26 grandchildren 59 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Friday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Walter Porter will be the minister with burial in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. - kbz
