New Richmond - We were called together on the 25th of July to pay the last tribute of respect to Mrs. Mary Burris, wife of Samuel Burris. The funeral services were by Rev. Thomas Shan. Mary was converted and joined the ME Church about 11 years ago. After a lingering illness of eight years, she passed from labor to reward. She expressed to her brothers and sisters an abiding confidence in God and her willingness to depart. - kz
