Word has been received here of the death of the venerable father of President Burroughs of Wabash College. Dr. Burroughs Sr. died on December 26 at Huntington Valley, Pa., and his death was rather sudden, President Burroughs having been called east by his illness on Christmas Day. Dr. Burroughs Sr. resided in this city some months and all will be pained to learn of his death. -s
