Mrs. Dora L. Cable, 62, died in her sleep early Thursday morning in her home at 506 Kentucky St. She was born Nov. 3, 1897, in Montgomery County near Waynetown to Simon and Alberta Maxwell Peacock. In January, 1916, she married Logan Cable in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death April 1, 1959. She is survived by her son, Fred Jones; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Galloway of near Waynetown, Mrs. Charles Wood of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Robert Wason of Indianapolis; three brothers, Eston and Raymond Peacock of Indianapolis and Dallas Peacock of Rockville, and by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven other brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Bright Funeral Home after 2 p.m. EST Friday. Services will be conducted by Rev. Paul E. Million, pastor of the First Christian Church at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
