Linden - Services for J.D. Campbell, 64, of Linden will be 10 a.m. Monday in Helms & Hahn Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. The Rev. Clayton Kendall will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-8 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Campbell died Thursday in his home. He had been a resident of Linden since 1964 and lived in New Richmond before then. He farmed until 1952. Since then he had been an auctioneer and sold real estate. He was a former member of the Crawfordsville Elks and a member of the Indiana Auctioneers Association. He was born at Stone Bluff Oct 15, 1913, a son of Samuel and Lulu Timmons Campbell. He was married Oct 16, 1943 to Betty Jean Fidler at Rob Roy. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Pat Stickford of Lafayette; a son Jack of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Una) Shouse of Albion; and 3 grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made in the form of contributions to the Heart Fund.

Local auctioneer J.D. Campbell, 64, of Linden, died Thursday in his home. He had been a resident of Linden since 1964. Campbell was born Oct. 15, 1913, at Stone Bluff. He married Betty Jean Fidler on Oct. 16, 1943. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Pat Stickord of Lafayette, and a son, Jack Campbell of Indianapolis.
