John B. Campbell, 84, died Thursday night at Culver Hospital after a long illness. He was a farmer and cattle raiser. Born Feb. 3, 1889, east of Crawfordsville, he was the son of Newton and Rose Martin Campbell. He was married Oct. 6, 1910, to Anna Shaver. Mr. Campbell was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, Rotary Club, Lodge 50 of F & AM and Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include his wife; two grandsons, Larry Campbell of Seattle, Wash., and Eddie Campbell of near Crawfordsville, and a daughter-in-law, Margaret Booher, near Crawfordsville. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. John DeKruyter and Rev. Carlton Christenson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
