Died - Mrs. Campbell, wife of Maurice Campbell, alias "Cheap John" died at the family residence, this city on Thursday last July 2d. Mrs. C. leaves an infant of some four of five days old. - kbz

The wife of Maurice Campbell, familiarly known as “Cheap John,” died of child bed fever on Wednesday night. She had giving birth to a fine child only a few days previous and was supposed to be getting along well until Tuesday night. Her husband is still lying very feeble from his recent attack of hemorrhage of the lungs.
