Wallace Campbell, 75, Crawfordsville, Dies At His Home- Wallace B. Campbell, 75, was found dead Friday morning by his wife at their home at 315 Louise Ave. He had apparently died during the night of a heart attack. Mr. Campbell had retired in 1955 from the Mid-States Steel & Wire Co. after being employed there for 35 years. In earlier years, he had farmed near Mace. Born Jan. 16, 1889, near Mace, Mr. Campbell was the son of James and Mary Weliver Campbell. On Sept. 30, 1927, he was married to Pearl Wilhelm. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Survivors include the widow, a step-son, Leonard Wilhelm of La Puente, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Daily of Crawfordsville. Separate article, date unknown- Campbell Funeral Services Conducted- Funeral services for Wallace B. Campbell were held Wednesday afternoon in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were Robert Middleton, Donald Scott, Leonard Fields, Robert Lee, Donald Meagher and Lloyd Meagher. “Whispering Hope” and “Beyond The Sunset” were sung by Reba Cornett, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. O.
