DELORES CANINE

The funeral of Delores CANINE was held at Freedom church on Saturday afternoon in charge of Rev. John N. Cauldwell assisted by Rev. Cecil Franklin. Burial in Freedom cemetery. The sympathy of the community was shown by the many beautiful flowers and by the attendance which exceeded the capacity of the church. The flowers were carried by a group of girls selected by Delores some time before her death were: Ann Jackson; Joan Chambers; Alice Clara Munns; Joyce Reeves; Betty Jane McQueen; Marabeth Patton; Maxine Patton; Dorothy Patton; Virginia Bannon; Betty Lynch Miller; Betty Barger; Mildred Miller; Geraldine Loman; Helen Tharp; Wilma Jackson; Helen Jean Loman and Margaret Martin. The pall bearers were Kenneth Canine; Blye Moody; Dwight Moody and James Moody. Mrs. Fred Rice and Isaac Wiatt sang In the Garden and Good Night and Good Morning; and Mrs. Rice sang God's Tomorrow with Miss Wanetta Wiatt as the accompanist. kbz
