Miss Helen C. CANINE, 35, died at her home, 603 S. Water St at 1 o´clock Saturday morning. Death was due to heart trouble and complications resulting from influenza. She had been ill a month. The deceased was born in this city June 28, 1896, daughter of Fred and Louise Canine. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge. The survivors include two sisters, Lillian Canine, with whom she lived and Mrs. Lucille Moore of Indianapolis; two brothers, Fred Canine of Atlanta GA and William Canine, member of the US Army and stationed at Scott Field, ill and four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. TJ Canine of Oxford and Mr. and Mrs. WH Park of Fruitland, Fl. Her father died four years ago while her mother died two years ago. The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o´clock at the home in charge of Rev. BE Antrobus. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
