Saturday evening about nine o'clock Mrs. Lela H. Canine the wife of Jesse Canine, died at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. William G. Hannah of 306 Bluff St. She had been ill for several days but her death was unexpected, being anticipated for only two hours previous to its occurrence. The funeral will take place from the residence tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock. The services will be conducted by Rev. Wallace Tharp; interment at the Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Canine's untimely and unexpected demise has cast a gloom over the wide circle of her friendship. She was a woman of many excellencies and her life commended itself to all who observed it. She had been ill for several days but her death was unexpected, being anticipated for only two hour previous to its occurrence.  The funeral took place from the residence Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock.
