Mrs. Fred L. Canine 603 S. Water St passed away at a sanitarium in Orlando FL, Monday morning after a bried illness according to a message received by relatives here Tuesday. Mrs. Canine death followed a major operation which she underwent Feb 6. Since that time her condition has been serious. Mrs. Canine went to Fruitland, Fla last Oct with her parents where she had planned to spend the winter. Mrs. Canine who had been a resident of this city for many years came to Crawfordsville with her parnets when she was 16. She was born in Canada. Her husband preceded her in death two years ago. Besides her parents, she is survived by 5 children: Lilian; Helen and Fred, all of this city and Mrs. Marvin Moore of Indianapolis and Wm. of Belleville, Ill. 3 grandsons and two sisters, Mrs. CA Taylor NY and Mrs. AD Sutherland of Honolulu survive. Members of the family will arrive Wednesday with the body which will be taken to the Hung Ratcliff Funeral Home. Arrangement for services will be announced. - kbz
