Mary Canine Oct 23, 1911 - May 28, 1989 Mary Kathryn CANINE, 77, of South Bend died Sunday at her home. She had been employed by Woolworth's 5 & 10 at Crawfordsville. She was a member of the New Market First Christian Church and graduated from New Market HS in 1930. Mrs. Canine was born Oct 23, 1911 in Montgomery County to Stephen A. and Manna SIMPSON BUSER. She was married Oct 31, 1932 at Crawfordsville to Carroll Canine who survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael C. of Orlando, Fla; 3 brothers, Kenneth buser of Crawfordsville, Robert Buser of Clearwater, Fla and C. Aubrey Buser of Fredrick, Md; and two grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with the Rev. Glen Brigman officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
