Ollie R. CANINE, 72, a retired farmer died Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at his home on the Country Club Rd. He had been in failing health for several months. He attended Central Normal College and taught school for 10 years in Union Township. Born near Waveland, Sept 23, 1881, he was the son of Lemuel J. and Lessie Milligan. On March 9, 1904 he married Cinderella Miller who preceded him in death Dec. 31, 1944. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Naomi of Indianapolis and Margaret at home; 3 sons, Paul of Crawfordsville; Ralph of Lafayette and Albert of Ambia; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Munns of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Leroy Delp of near Ladoga, two brothers Tude and Joe of Browns Valley; 5 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Clare Siple officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the home on Country Club Road from 7 pm. on Monday until 11 a.m. Wednesday. - kbz

Canine, Ollie – Friends may call at the residence on Country Club Road, Crawfordsville from 7 p.m. Monday to 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Services at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville with Rev. Clair D. Siple officiating; burial in Masonic Cemetery.  Five grandchildren survive.
