RR Canine, 77 who for many years was a resident of Thorntown, died Monday morning at his home in Lebanon, according to a message received here by a nephew, Herbert A. Canine. The deceased was a native of Thorntown, the son of John and Martha Hayes Canine. Death was caused by a heart attack and came unexpectedly. Although he had lived in Lebanon recently, the greater part of his life was spent at Thorntown where he was known to his friends and associates as Cran Canine. Surviving besides the nephew, who resides East of here, Mrs. Ethel Hankins of Thorntown, Preceding him in death were: two brothers, Albert and Chancellor Canine, a sister, Mrs. Cynthia Bowman and a nephew, Lawrence Canine. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Crane Funeral Home, Thorntown and burial will be made at Brush Creek Cemetery, north of Thorntown. The Rev. Moody fo the Thorntown Methodist Church will officiate. - kbz
