Caplinger - John

John M. Caplinger was born July 29, 1852 and died Jan 31, 1902. He was 49 years, six months and two days old. He was married to Maggie E. Doyel, Jan 8, 1879 and by that union were born four children, one dying in infancy, Maggie E. Caplinger died May 20, 1887. He was married again April 2nd, 1893 to Bertie Layson and by this union two children were born. He leaves a wife, five children and three brothers. He united with the Christian Church Feb 10, 1893 and lived a devoted Christian life, dying with a full assurance of a blessed hereafter. So oft we hear a whisper, and oh it is passing sweet.
