Mr. and Mrs. Clyde CARMICHAEL received word Aug 27 that their son, Sgt. 1st Class, Cyril Carmichael was killed in Korea August 6th. He served 4 years in WWII and has been in the peace-time army for 3 years. He was 28. He has two brothers and 3 sisters. Cyril has been stationed in Japan since March 1949 and had been in Korea since the first of July. This is the second Korean War Casualty to be reported for Russellville since July 20. Donald Sechman son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sechman has been reported missing. kbz
