Mrs. Elizabeth Carr died at the residence of her son. Captain Bruce Carr, south of the city on June 14 at the advanced age of 92 years. The cause of her death was extreme old age, and a general giving way of all the life giving organs of the body. Mrs. Carr was born May 13, 1797, and for many years was a resident of Union county, where all her children were born. She came with her husband to this county in 1855. She was a devout member of the Christian church, in which her husband was a minister. She leaves three children. Mrs. Dr. Purviance, Mrs. G. W. Paul and Capt. Bruce Carr. The funeral occurred Friday at 2 o'clock at the residence of Captain Carr, Interment at Oak Hill. - thanks muches Kim H
