Frank Carson the painter, came Thursday to visit his brother, Ed. He had a stroke of paralysis while painting on top of ladder at Detroit, Mich two months ago and was in the hospital for five weeks, after which he was taken to Wm. Conn's north of Crawfordsville, where he has been since. - Darlington Echo

Frank Carson, Jr., aged 18 years, died last Monday of consumption, at his home near Clark’s Hill. Interment will be at I. O. O. F. Cemetery here Wednesday. Funeral at the South Christian Church will be conducted by Rev. F. P. Trotter.
