Mrs. Hannah J. Carson, until three years ago a resident of this city, died at her home last Saturday in Terre Haute. She was 72 years of age, the day she died being her birthday. The deceased resided on Franklin street of this city from 1870 until her removal to Terre Haute. She was the mother of twelve children of which seven are still living to know the loss of a mother, one of which, Flora, resides in this city. The remains were brought here on Monday after her death and taken to the home of M. C. Brandenburg. The funeral was conducted at Memorial Chapel at 10 a. m.. on Tuesday by Rev. Goss, interment at the Masonic cemetery. - transcribed by Kim H

Mrs. Hannah L. Carson, formerly of this city, died Saturday in Terre Haute. The funeral took place Tuesday morning at the Morningside Chapel, Rev. S. W. Goss officiating. Interment was at the Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Carson was 72 years of age and had many friends here. -s
