G. W. CARTY, who was the contractor on the gravel road south end of town in the Kesterson place died in Montezuma on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. JM Heslar and Mrs. Dewey Hazlett attended the funeral at the Montezuma ME Church. He is survived by the wife, 3 sons and two grandchildren. One of the sons married Mr. Heslar's daughter. -- kbz
