Clements, who preached from Job 5:26, "Though shalt come to thy grave in a full age like as a shock of corn cometh in his season," a text which was of her own selection. She was laid o rest in New Salem Cemetery, a plat of ground which was originally a part of the old homestead where so many years had been spent in toil and the happiness of rearing a large family of children. In connection with the ladies of the cemetery association during the last year, she had taken such an interest and active part in helping to beautify the last resting place of those who have been transplanted. The children who were present at the funeral services from a distance were: Isabel Taylor, Wichita, KS; Jenizie Hammer, Des moines, Iowa; John E. Caster, Portland OR; Georeg W. Caster, Randolph Neb; Fred M. Caster, Belden, Nb; also Cary Sutton, a nephew of Belden, Nb. Appropriate music was furnished by a quartet, Mesdames EM Cary and CW Wildman and Rev.
