Mrs. Minnie Marks Callahan, 94, a native of Waynetown died Tuesday morning in the home of a son, Austin Callahan in Connersville, it was learned here late Tuesday.  Born in December 1865, Mrs. Callahan was the daughter of William and Lucinda Whitesett Marks. She was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church.  Mrs. Callahan was a practical nurse in Crawfordsville for 40 years. She also was a charter member of the Athens Capter of the Order of Eastern Star. She received her 50 year pin as a member of the chapter recently.  Surviving besides the son at whose home she died are two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, George Raymond Callahan who died in 1927. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Waynetown Baptist Church  with the pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
