Canine - Blanche Haines

Source: Crawfordsville Daily Journal, June 15, 1910

Mrs. John Canine, of 409 south Washington street, died Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock following a stroke of paralysis which she suffered about 10 o'clock in the morning. Mrs. Canine was about her work as usual Tuesday morning not having complained of any sickness. She was stricken about 10 o'clock and Dr. S.L. Ensminger was called. An examination disclosed that she has suffered a very severe paralytic stroke and also a rupture of a blood vessel on the brain. No hope could be given her husband and relatives and she continued to grow worse until the end.

She was born in Terre Haute, March 18, 1872. Her maiden name was Haines. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon with burial at Oak Hill cemetery.
