The widow of the late Jere Carver died Thursday about 11 o’clock a.m. at her home on East Wabash Avenue of cancer of the stomach. She leaves four small children. The funeral will take place on Saturday. "S"

At the home of Elijah Sering, her son-in-law on E. Wabash Avenue yesterday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Margaret Carver, relict of the late Jere Carver. She was a victim of cancer of the stomach. She leaves four young children orphans. The funeral will occur on Saturday at an hour yet to be determined. - kbz
