Casey - Ellen

At 12:30 o’clock Saturday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Ellen Casey, wife of Timothy Casey. Mrs. Casey has been ill for a number of years and her death was caused by rheumatism with other complications. The funeral services occurred Monday morning at nine o’clock at the Catholic Church. The funeral was conducted by Father Dempsey.
Mrs. Casey was a prominent member of the Catholic Church. She came here from Worcester, Mass., while an infant with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Reilly, and has since lived in Crawfordsville. In 1869 she was married to Mr. Casey and besides him she leaves five children: Mrs. Robert Kuhn, of Star City, Daniel Casey, of Chicago, Jeremiah B. Casey, of Colfax, and Mary and Neil. Mrs. Casey was fifty two years old. -s
