Waynetown, May 2 - Frank Cedars, one of the most prominent and highly respected farmers in this section, died at 6 o'clock this morning. For three months he had suffered from heart failure but two weeks ago the disease took a turn for the worse. Mr. Cedars was born Jan 14, 1848 on a farm 3 miles east of here, the son of John and Mary Mosier Cedars. His first wife was Sarah Schaffer and his second was Edna Geigner. He had lived all his life in the vicinity of Waynetown and he is survived by his wife, two sons, Albert of Kokomo and Vern who lives at home and two grandchildren, while a brother George Cedars resides here and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Smith lives at Danville, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday from the home, two miles northeast of here. Rev. Everett Nixon of Kokomo will officiate and interment will be in Waynetown cemetery. = kbz
