The funeral of Jeremiah CHADWICK who died at his home 5 miles east of Crawfordsville on Friday afternoon took place at the Methodist Church at Mace on Sunday at 10:30. Rev Barton of Ladoga officiating. The burial took place at the Knights of Pythias cemetery at Mace. He was a brother Jemima Jane Swain and James and Eli Chadwick this city and John F. Chadwick of Mace. His wife died about a year ago. Two children were born to them, Henry A Chadwick who is still iving and William H. Chadwick who died some years ago. There are 5 grandchildren: William H. Refa; Ward E, Florence J and Edith V Chadwick. He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church for 20 years and a charter member of Mace Knights of Pythias lodge organized in 1874 and also a charter member of Mace Lodge Horse Thief Detectives. -- kbz
