Wingate - Mrs. Myrtle Katherine Chadwick, 85, died at 10:38 p.m. Monday at Culver Hospital where she had been a patient for four weeks. She was born Feb. 14, 1883 at Wingate the daughter of Vy and Mary Wainscott Kennedy. She married Harry G. Chadwick in 1904 at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in 1961. Mrs. Chadwick was a member of the Liberty Chapel Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Earl K. of Speedway; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hazel of Three Rivers, Mich.; two brothers, Van Kennedy of Waynetown and Gould Kennedy of Wingate; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Ernest. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Rev. John Servies will officiate. Burial will be at the Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle K. Chadwick were held Thursday morning at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. John Servies officiated. Mrs. O. C. Edwards played selections on the organ. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the flowers were James Smith, John Smith, Edward Vannice, Chase LaFollette, all of Crawfordsville, and Joe Chadwick and Douglas Hazle, both of Indianapolis. Burial was in the Mace K of P Cemetery.

Wingate - Mrs. Myrtle Katherine (KIennedy) Chadwick, 85, widow of Harry G. Chadwick, died Monday night in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where she was a patient four weeks. Born here, she was married at Crawfordsville in 1904.  Her husband died in 1961. Mrs. Chadwick was a member of Liberty Chapel Christian Church. Surviving are a son, Earl K. of Speedway; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hazel of Three Rivers, Mich and two brothers, Van Kennedy of Waynetown and Gould Kennedy of Wingate.
