Hattie Zimmerman was born July 2nd 1879, in Montgomery Co. Ind. She was married to Dennis Chambers August 1st, 1895. To this union was born two children, Eugene aged eleven months and Pauline aged 8. Mrs. Chambers died August 25, 1911, aged 32 years, one month and 23 days. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife, always cheerful and bright, a friend to all she knew, and loved by all who knew her. Her illness was of long duration but she bore it with a christian fortitude. She died at the home of her mother, in East Ladoga.
She united with the M.E. Church about 13 years ago, and remained in the faith until death. She leaves a husband, two children a mother three brothers and three sisters to mourn her demise. Her father and two brothers proceeded her in death. - kbz
