Fred CHENEY, who at one time conducted a jewelry repair business here was found dead on Tuesday afternoon in his bed in Waynetown. The coroner attributed the death to cerebral hemorrhage and was of the opinion that Cheney had been dead for three days. Neighbors had seen him last on Saturday morning. He was 60 and had no relatives but his stepmother, Mrs. Stella Cheney of Alamo at which place he was buried on Wednesday morning. He was well liked when living here. - kbz
